NEWEUROPE™ Corporation (NEC) has created NEWEUROPE™ Music (NEM) Label which specializes in releasing existing music and recording new music in English done by artists from Eastern Europe with an established record of successful releases in their country. NEC looks for East European artists with melodic dance, pop, ballads and rock style music. Some of such songs are then re-produced in English. Also Music Videos of such NEM artists are presented or produced and shown on NEM and other NEC web sites plus at NEWEUROPE™ Club parties, Special Events and at NEWEUROPE™ Light & Club Cafes. Some of NEM artists are brought to USA for live performances. NEC is also creating unique NEWEUROPE™ Dance music style to be also performed in English by NEWEUROPE™ Bands as well as NEWEUROPE™ Music & Entertainment Centers (NEMECs) in Zagreb, Croatia, in Kiev, Ukraine and in Orlando, Florida ( see below) which are in charge of selection and production of NEM music and music videos and the best of European TV programs.

Music business in the United States is not the same as it used to be. Regular retail CD sales have been going down by 10%-15% per year in the last few years. I-pod, i-tunes and digital downloading for free have a affected music industry permanently. Digital downloading of individual songs has been going up in 15%-20% range per year. Radio publishing revenues have stayed steady.

Without radio play it is very difficult to make any money in the music industry and only major labels and artists in the USA get nationwide airplay and Billboard charting. Music Videos are also very important marketing tool and again only major artists and labels can afford them and market them especially on You Tube. Most of artists are not happy how they have been or are treated by their record labels. Most, outside of those who get an advance, do not see much money via their CD-music sales.
